Analytics

In this tutorial you will learn about the Analytics Node, what it does and how to use and its Settings

1. What it does

Provides the Analytics and Metrices for your Alexa skill and Google Assistant actions.
Currently only Dashbot.io and Chatbase.com are supported.
This is a pass-through node, it will just send the required information to selected Analytics platform and forwards/passes the unmodified message to the next connected node.

2. How to use

You can place this Analytics Node before the Router Node

Note:
- Make sure to connect the outputs of every channel like Alexa-in or Assistant-in to the input of Analytics Node.
- Make sure to attach the output of Analytics Node to the Router Node.

In order to add analytics of Chatbase.com or Dashbot.io, you just need to create an account with them and finally generate a token or API key

  1. Dashbot.io
Head to Dashbot.io and login with your user information. On the Bots page, click on the ‘Add a bot, Skill or Action’ button to enter your bot information.

After completing information and subsequent steps you’ll receive an API key you can use to get started with Dashbot.

  2. Chatbase.com
Head to Chatbase.com and login with your user information. On the Bots page, click on the ‘+ Add a bot’ button to enter your bot information.

After completing this and subsequent steps you’ll receive an API key you can use to get started with Chatbase.

  • Service
Select the service which provide Analytics for voice apps.
Currently only Dashbot.io and Chatbase.com are supported.
  • API Key
Add an API key or token, generated from the respective platform.

4. Input

Analytics Node takes input from any node, but always attach next to Channel nodes like Alexa-in and Assistant-in nodes.

5. Output

Analytics Node does not modify the msg object. It is just a pass-through node which do not causes any delay in response to the User.
